And the Oscar goes to.......

Hello Lovelies! I have returned!So last night was a big night here in the downtown of wonderland. The 83rd Academy Awards! All the streets were blocked off for the fabulous after parties and Hollywood's finest were on the prowl. While sadly I was unable to watch them (I was busy wrapping a VERY long day of filming on an exciting project I can't wait to share with you, but unfortunately have no

Sneakery Peakery!

Here's a sneak peak at something I got to work on last weekend....More to come!Stay Tuned!XOXO

MUST HAVE - Maxi Skirt

"The Maxi Skirt' may just be one of the most dramatic of all trends for this Autumn/Winter 2011 with almost every top designer producing their take on the maxi skirt.

The best part about this floor skimming look is it is all about minimalism which is right up my ally!

Use the skirt as the centre piece of your look. Once you have the skirt team it with a billowing silk top or boyfriend tee, topping the look of the a gorgeous knit and oversize clutch for a totally chic outfit.

Bec & Bridge Cross My Heart Maxi Skirt - $140

Joveeba Boyfriend Silk Shirt - $250

Bec & Bridge Shot Gun Tee - $110

One Teaspoon Knit - $250

Mask of the Day {Gold Member}

Todays Mask consists or bronzes and gold tones. I was feeling like a smokey eye so I went for the more bronzey look. Its usually my favorite for my skin tone (so are taupes for the green peepers). Since the eyes are slightly more dramatic (and it was day time) I kept the lips lighter (used my new Chanel Petit Peche) and the cheeks coral. The only thing I would've done different was DO MY BROWS! I

TREND ALERT- Grey is the new Black

Autumn and winter are always about neutrals but this season GREY taking centre stage.

Grey seems to bring out the best in woollen and knitted fabrics because in production there is a slight variation in the dying and as a result the garment is more luxurious and softer to touch.

Try mixing your neutral palette teaming grey with creams, beige, camel and taupe for a on trend look. Or you can even take your look to a more contemporary place by mixing different shades of grey with black or even black & white stripes.

My picks to invest in this season are oversize jumpers, mid calf cardigans, and this seasons must have the grey jumper dress.

Any of these pieces will look so on trend over black or patterned leggings, or dark denim slim fit jeans and for the finishing touches accessories with Indian inspired turquoise jewellery.

Lastly a point to remember when wearing grey, you want to wear slightly more dramatic make-up to balance up the look, smoky eyes with a nude lip are a nice balance and allow you to easily transform your look from day to night.

Outfit {Hi ho, hi ho}

Has been a crazy busy weekend so haven't been able to upload much in the form of work and make-up, but here is an outfit post for today!Life as a make-up artist isn't always the most profitable of professions. Especially when you are starting out (or in my case, starting over again). There is alot of down time and sometimes you have to work for free to get your work (and self) out there. So in

Take Me to the Resort!

Today was an exhaustingly long work day and it was raining cats and dogs to boot! All this nasty weather has me reflecting back to the Spring Resort collections. Here are some of my faves that I would LOVE to have as an addition to the wardrobe!!!While nothing here is ground breaking (I'm sure you have seen all this before as it has been around for a bit), I just wanted to stare at some pretty

Outfit {Leopard, leather and Fringe OH MY!}

I'm still fending for myself, hence the blurry photos. I swear my camera really does hate me. It's declared mutiny. This is war.None the less, I would not tolerate it's insolence and forced it to take photos yesterday. Hopefully you can get the idea. In case you didn't notice from my current lusting post (last seen here) I have a love for animal print... particularly leopard print. To me they are

Outfit {Bohemian Rhapsody}

Please excuse the awkward angles and blur of the pictures. I had to fend for myself since my "Photographer" (aka The Boyfriend) deserted me. Here is today's outfit. I was feeling alittle more hippie inspired (must be all the Free People look books I keep oogling) I was drawn to a lighter more colorful palette to beat rainy day blahs. The dress and bag are from last winter and the boots (which are

I've been really M.I.A. lately,since I've been busy doing photoshoots, spending time with my lovely boyfriend Carlos and also just got a new job at justfab.com as a Fashion Adviser, it's left me very little time to blog about outfits, the latest trends,and also what I've been into as of lately. Don't worry my fellow followers, I have not forgotten about you, if anything I'm always thinking of new things to post that will interest and inspire you! lately I've been into anything Tribal, 70's ish, crochet ponchos which you can see in the picture below and also stone jewelry. I love how the 70's are coming back, but I'm not one for trends,but I find myself buying bell bottoms and big round sunglasses, what can I tell you, I LOVE THE 70's.

Mask of the Day {Red, Red Wine}

Today I'm doing a quick Valentine's Day look. I ADORE red lips. There is something so glamorous about it. And I dont care what anyone says... ANYONE can wear a red lip! You just need to find one that suits your coloring. If you are very olive toned (meaning you have a slightly green tone to your skin, think Penelope Cruz and Salma Hayek) look for an orange based one (MAC Russian Red and Ruby Woo

Weekend Haulage

Though I have been on a bit of a shopping ban due to lack of shopping fundage (life as an artist isn't always a profitable one... I need a life sponsor. Any Takers?) I haven't been able to do much on the shopping front. However this weekend (partly due from guilt in leaving me, partly maybe in the spirit of Valentine's) The Boyfriend said to set aside set ban and do alittle indulging. Granted

Mask of the Day {Orange Julius}

Here is a quick Mask before I headed out the door. Excuse the weird eyes. I seem to be having an allergic reaction to something so they have been a bit on the puffy side which in turn makes me look like an alien. Here I decided to keep the eyes simple and focus on the lips. I used the other Revlon lipgloss I purchased last month in the coral color. I'm definitely ready for Spring now!Products

Outfit {lazy daze}

Monday I had one of those perfect days. No work or looming deadlines over head. Beautiful weather. And the boyfriend free from work and school type duties. So we decided to take a stroll through the downtown for some site seeing. We took the Angel's flight up the hill, walked through the Grand Central market, and ventured down to China Town for some delectable cuisine. All in all a perfect

Spring Inspired

The weather has reverted back to feeling like Spring in the land of the "LAh", I can't help but daydream about Spring inspired fancies. Florals and sheer draperies and bright colors OH MY! It must have been the Santa Ana teaser that has me in a fever. She's a wily temptress that one.These taunts are from the Free People lookbook. How amazing are the Paris shots! So chic! I need every single one

Outfit {Brick, Mortar and Fur)

I think I felt inspired after my shoot the other day with all the fabulous leather pant looks! All I have wanted to do since is live in them. Was on my way out to dinner yesterday to this delicious German Brawt house in the Downtown (Wurtskutch... think that's how it's spelt) and then off for drinks in the Gallery Bar at the Millennium Biltmore. If you love old buildings and architecture you

107th post

02.06.2011

(Floral tshirt - Zara ; Brown short - Focus ; Belt - Phoebe and Chloe ; Shoes - Charles and Keith ; Random accessories)

Hey, readers, this is my 107th post. Sorry for a long long hiatus. Ya you know, I'm 9th grade now and have to prepare for the final examination. In Indonesia it's called UN (Ujian Nasional). I have to study hard, and join the extra classes everyday. Well, it's a responsibility for student like me. Please understand (ha ha ha).

Mask of the Day {Purple Haze}

Now that the weather in Wonderland has reverted back to a chill, I notice the wardrobe has also taken a turn to the dark side. I'm usually a person fond of color but in winter I seem to steer toward predominately black, grey and beige with a flair for the edgier styling. Not sure why. Perhaps the chilly weather brings a chilly mood? I opted for a smokey eye for the day but as opposed to the

Outfit {City of Industry}

Last weekend, before it became a normal winter again, the boyfriend and I decided to take a stroll around downtown. One of the things I love about downtown is all the old buildings in the "Old Historic Banking District". Being from Vegas I have never been able to have an appreciation for that. We tend to tear down old buildings and hotels, and erect new and improved versions in their there place.

XOXO, Gossip Girl

Today is fashion OVERLOAD! You have been warned.I will admit, my guilty pleasures in life are in my tv shows. Gossip Girl being one of them. Last week was the long awaited return of all new episodes! I won't lie, the biggest reason I watch is for the fashion. Wardrobe stylist Eric Daman is a genius! I would give up my first born for the wardrobe on the show (and for Eric to be my new bestie and
