Back To School

It’s my favourite time of year again – back to school time! The shops are full of stuff both preppy and more relaxed that will basically make up your wardrobe for the year. TK Maxx have a great new line called Varsity, which is surprisingly cheap and perfect for our inner Blair Waldorf – yet everything is under €40!

The one staple for back to school/college/uni is a decent pair of jeans. Now that’s something you have to do yourself but a good start for reasonable, affordable, good jeans is Awear or New Look. They have all styles and are quite comfy.

For a more relaxed look on top, t-shirts and long cardigans are the way to go. You can get cardigans in pretty much any shop nowadays including Penneys, in all types of styles. These t-shirts, from New Look, I think are very cool but again go with what you like!

You also can't go wrong with a pair of pumps or a decent pair of boots. I recommend going with neutral colours as they will go with everything. New Look have these pumps in black, silver, gold, red and blonde for around €10.

The main thing is go for comfort. College is not a fashion parade so make sure you like what you wear and that it’s comfy, and it’ll be happy days!
