White Blank Page

I think we all have a color we hate and we’d never use in our clothes. In my case, it’s white. I like it on other people, but not on me. I’ve never been a fan of this color, but when I saw this white lace dress last year at Forever 21, I bought it just to try. I think I’ve only used it two times, I just don’t feel comfortable wearing white. I tried and give it a chance once more, and that one day the weather was so hot, so I decided to wear it. I also wanted an excuse for my leopard print shoes.

At the second half of the day, I came back home and put some jeans and a peach t-shirt because I couldn’t stand white on me. I’ve felt like someone else.

Simply white and I are not friends. I don’t like the way it looks on me.

I love spring/summer trends and my favorite trend right now is the asymmetrical skirt. I love to wear them.  This one is my favorite on my closet. It is so wonderful and i love the print. Finally in my home town, the summer is coming. So now I can wear my skirts.

Time is Running Out!

How are you people? I hope that fine. Last week I saw the movie "The Artist". It was so good, now it is one of my favorite movies. Now I understand why the movie won all the awards. Next week, the new issue of my magazine will be printed. I'm so excited for this one because it is better <3

Good news everyone.
Maybe I’m going to Montreal, Canada for a photography course this summer. I’m negotiating with my parents about the money, now that I’m working in the fashion magazine, I can afford it. So let’s hope and pray that I can go, please.

All my life I’ve been made fun of my height, I’m 1.60 according to my doctor but I think I’m smaller. For as long as I can remember, my family have made jokes about how small I am, most of them are taller than 1.70 or even more. I have a cousin who’s height is 2 meters long. I think it’s weird they make fun of me when I have the average height of my country’s population. Not only have I had to deal with my height but also with my baby face. I don’t look my age, everyone thinks I’m 2-3 years younger than I am, I used to complain a lot, mostly when I was a teenager. I hated looking so young, but time has passed and I realized it was something good, that way I’m not aging so fast.

I’ve wished so many times to be tall, I’ve always wanted to be a model, it’s my failed dream because I’ve always been aware of my short height. But thank God heels exist.

So, if you suffer because of your height too, just remember:

Dsquared² Lookbook - Stylish On Christmas

Dsquared² is one of my favorite brands. I love their little bit different rock 'n roll style (although you cannot see it here straight away). These looks would be amazing to wear on Christmas. Unfortunately, Christmas 2012 that will be, because this is their pre Fall / Winter '12 collection... I've decided to put this on for inspiration for this Christmas because having inspiration is always a good thing, isn't it?

Chictopia/Lookbook

I've got to admit, I've neglected my Chictopia account of late, but the other day I decided to upload my favourite outfit that was scheduled for whilst I was on holiday. I was pleasantly surprised to sign back on today, and find out I'm now on the Style Council and am featured on page 4 of the Style Gallery! When I signed in and saw the amount of comments and chic votes on that one style, I had to double take! I genuinely couldn't believe that was my account.

So, the purpose of this post was to thank you, if you use Chictopia and you Chic voted me or commented, I'm utterly grateful. Thank you also to those of you who follow me, if it wasn't for you, I would've given up blogging by now, and that outfit probably wouldn't have come about.

I love the styling especially all the layering! I think layering always works best in the British summer! What with the undecisive weather, you can take off and add layers suiting the warmth, and with light jersey fabrics, that are breezy but almost thermal, layering always works :)
