Here in the downtown of LA we have a special event called "The Art Walk". This occurs every second Thursday of the month, and all the restaurants set up shop on the side walks, with all the boutiques, and the normally vacant buildings come alive with sellers of jewels, baubles, art and VINTAGE! So... due to the boyfriend wanting to check out a deserted building, that any other day would be closed

A few months back I had the opportunity to work on a jewelry look book shoot, doing make-up, hair and body bronzing, with the lovely blogger and photographer Kelsi of Dedicated Follower of Fashion http://www.dedicated-follower.com. Though it did not end all that fabulously for her, some gorgeous pictures were produced from the en-devour. INSPIRATION

I can't believe we are already 20 days into the NEW YEAR..Time really dose fly by..and it's going by faster as I get older..BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! But onto better things..Here are some pictures that are inspiring my wardrobe at the moment; since spring is right around the corner, I'm feeling full skirts, cut off tops, bohemian prints and a course tons of floral print anything!! I'm a really big fan of the 70's, if I could rock an Afro with bell bottom jeans and a bright colored top everyday, I seriously would....Silly me, but I honestly dig the freedom of expression the 70's had, as well as Woodstock, Jimi Hendrix and Charlie's Angels..I should have been born during the 70's and not the late 80's..I appreciate my life, cannot wait for this year to really evolve,I feel a lot of great things are coming my way!! 2011 is already making me smile ear to ear!!

Recently I've been getting back into Fashion Photography, as well as do my own styling and Hair and Make-up for all my photoshoots..I hadn't shot any pictures in the last 5 months and decided it was time to get back into the game and I feel no time is better than now..One of my strengths has always been photography and styling,along with hair and make-up...And to be honest, I'm really pleased with how all the pictures turned out. I'm even thinking about submitting some of my work to major fashion magazines,wish me luck!!! The model I shot, Minerva Mendez, who I've worked with before is absolutely stunning..You can almost do any kind of look on her and she'll always deliver....She's such a versatile model..Let me know what you all think of the photos!!!

New Year! New Me!

Hello to all..Sorry about my absence. I've been so busy lately preparing for school, moving out of my house to a new place, spending time with my boo, along with other things. I have to admit though, 2010 was not a good year for me,but 2011 is going to be even better. I usually don't make New Year's resolutions,but I feel that this time around, I probably should. My first resolution for this new year is I want to be more daring, more of a risk-taker, I use to be, then all of a sudden, I started living in a box..Not that much fun living in a box taking you no where. Which explains my daring new years outfit, very glitzy, with a touch a vintage charm. Next resolution would to be more confident in my own abilities and talents. I'm have so much talent, but I ALWAYS tend to under rate myself, I'm pretty much my own worst critic!! And my third resolution would be to conquer all my worst fears, like ghosts, roller coasters,and free fall jumping!! I'm a bit of baby,but a cute one at that!! And who can forget my love for fashion..My ultimate goal is to break into the industry..I would really love to be a creative director of a major fashion magazine, like Joe Zee at Elle, He's a god and I want to be a GODDESS..LOL!! Do any of you have resolutions you want to share.I would love to know!!!
